How’s it going my friend, Jacob Laguerre, here. Thanks for checking out my about page.
I was born on Oct. 20, 1991 (yes, I’m a millennial), and was raised in Queens, New York. I’m half-Haitian and half-Mauritian. I have two brothers, one older and one younger.
Ever since I was a kid, I always knew that I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I remember when I was in elementary, I saw this kid selling candy to my other classmates. He was buying them for 5 cents at the store, and selling them for ten cents. Pretty much, he was doubling his money.
Something about seeing him double his money stuck with me. When I got to junior high school, I started doing the same thing. I would buy candy at the bodega on my way to school, and I would sell it to my classmates during class.
I stopped pursuing entrepreneurial ventures for a while and ended up going to college in SUNY Stony Brook. I started off as a Computer Science major and ended up majoring in Philosophy and minoring in Computer Science.
I was about a semester or two from graduating when I made the decision to drop out of school. I felt that school wasn’t for me and that I would make it as an entrepreneur. And I figured that one of the best ways to do it is through the internet.
I’m building my personal brand with the intention of inspiring others to become the best they can be. If you desire to become financially free, and you believe in personal development as much as I do, then I think you’re gonna like it here.
The topics I cover on my blog include digital marketing, personal development, and entrepreneurship. I’m also going to be covering products that I use and love. Chances are, I will be an affiliate of that product and if you choose to purchase, then I may receive compensation.
Anyways, that’s me in a nutshell. I look forward to you being a part of this journey.
